Summary

The letter reports two polygraph examinations with no deception indicated and explains Ms. Nast’s assessment that sex offender treatment did not appear beneficial based on the information available at the time.

What it supports

The first examination addressed whether Dale performed the specific act alleged in the case and reports that he passed. A second, concerning a history of sexual contact with a minor, also showed no deception. Ms. Nast wrote that it appeared he did not have such a history.

What it does not establish

It is not a judicial determination of innocence and does not overturn a conviction. Polygraph results do not, by themselves, establish innocence.

Original supplied letter. Its wording and identifying details are reproduced as provided.

Personal narrative

My earlier written account provides background on the events, trial, probation, and continuing effects. It is my account of the case, not an independent finding or a substitute for court records. The updated story on this site provides clearer attribution and distinguishes recollection from documentary support.
