  1. May 2008

    Dale says he met the young man through MySpace and understood him to be 19.

  2. December 22, 2008

    Arrest, followed by approximately 15 months in county jail before release on personal bond.

  3. August 16, 2010

    Trial began.

  4. August 19, 2010

    On August 19, 2010, I was convicted of two counts of indecency with a child by contact and two counts of sexual assault of a child, based on allegations involving two separate days.

    I maintain that I did not commit any of these offenses.

    The allegations against me mirrored the circumstances in Robert’s case. That connection, alongside the $10,000 demand and the threat that preceded the accusation, is central to why I maintain that I was targeted in an extortion attempt.
